Have you ever played the computer games that show a little map of your world at the bottom? In the beginning, everything is dark. As you begin to explore the surrounding areas they become permanently illuminated. Our first week or two felt like that. Baby steps into the surrounding neighborhoods. After a while we extended our selves a little farther. Across town to work, down south to the river, and so on. We now have a constellation of illuminated dots scattered around the city. Hopefully in the next few months we will be able to fill in the space between.
